Morehead State University's Space Science Center will host a debate featuring American and Russian perspectives on the Cold War. The event will be held at the SSC’s Star Theater Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Boris Yendler, CEO and principal consultant for Yendler Satellite Propellant Management LLC., will be the leader of Team Russia. He has a long history with Lockheed Martin and was in the Russian military during the cold war serving as a weapons specialist on surface to air missiles. Jeff Kruth, staff electrical engineer at the SSC, will be the leader of Team United States.
There will be brief presentations, a discussion of their histories and stories of the Cold War. A question-and-answer session will follow.
The Space Science Center is located at 235 Martindale Drive on the East end of the campus.
