Dallas Moore

Carpe Diem

Muddy Bottom Blues

Program #136 (March 30 at 8:00 p.m. and March 31 at 3:00 p.m.)

Dallas Moore is an outlaw country singer who makes his home in Cincinnati. The long-haired Harley-riding singer, who was influenced by old Elvis Presley and Hank Williams 45s as a kid, plays a hard rockin' brand of country that is topped-of by his gruff vocals and shows equal reverence for Waylon Jennings and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Moore, who went to college on a jazz scholarship, has won several trophies at the Cincinnati Music Awards.

Moore released his debut album, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, in 1991. He followed that with the studio album One More Ride and a live effort. Untold Stories, an all-acoustic release, arrived in 2000. His 2018 album is called Mr. Honky Tonk.

Moore has shared the stage with such heroes as David Allan Coe and Willie Nelson.
