Eagle Football Spring Game Set for April 11

MSU Athletics

Morehead State will host its annual Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 11 at Jayne Stadium. Tailgating will begin at 3 p.m. ET. An alumni flag football game is slated to follow at 4:30, with current players and coaches hitting the field at 6.

Admission is free. The stadium will open at 4 p.m.

"I'm very pleased with the progress of the team, but more importantly, our staff and players are not content and are hungry for more improvement," Head Coach Rob Tenyer said. "Our players are eager to showcase our program during the spring game. We invite everyone out for a fun-filled day on campus."

Tenyer enters his third season as head coach following 12 seasons as an assistant coach at MSU.

Season tickets for the 2015 season will be on sale. Fans can see all five games at Jayne Stadium for just $60, while MSU faculty, staff and retirees can attend every contest for only $30.

Season boxes, which accommodate eight people just below the press box, will be on sale for $600 apiece. Season parking passes will also be available for $25 each for season ticket holders.

Saturday's tailgaters will be able to set up in large lot adjacent to the Academic-Athletic Center. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase tailgate spaces in the Eagle Rally Zone for 2015.

General parking will be available in the EAGLE Center lot, by the baseball facility and limited spaces in the AAC lot.

Since late March, the Morehead State football team has been practicing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Eagles are slated to have completed 14 workouts by next weekend.

Morehead State returns eight individuals who earned PFL postseason honors in 2014 - Justin Cornwall, Chris Fookes, Alex Hey, Ronald Cooper, Austin Gahafer, Justin Grier, Luke Keller and Jake Raymond.

MSU's assistant coaches for the 2015 season are Craig Mullins, Dontae Wright, Patrick St. Louis, Zack Moore, John Perin, Wes McDermott, Zach Lewis, Andre Crenshaw, Adam Mueller and Jameson Stephens.
