Coddington, Gina Herrera, Leslie Pearson, Elizabeth Runyon, Carolyn Swift and Joanne Weis" is scheduled to open with a reception on Wednesday, October 12 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  The exhibition features contemporary printmaking, sculpture, installation, and textile artworks, and closes on Tuesday, November 22.

Through a national call for submissions, the exhibition "Of the Earth" was curated to include six artists from near and far whose works either utilized and/or reflected on organic elements in the natural world.

Leslie Pearson, an award winning fibers and installation artist from Fayetteville, North Carolina, will be the second visiting artist associated with the exhibition.  While on campus, Ms. Pearson will be hosting sculpture demonstrations on Tuesday, November 1 from 11:00 am – 1:35 pm and 2:00 – 4:35 pm in 311 Claypool-Young.  Additionally, she will also be meeting with MSU's arts entrepreneurship class, an art history class, and a first year seminar focused on visual art and design.
