Governor Beshear says more than 413,000 Kentuckians have signed up for health insurance through Kynect, the state’s marketplace. The governor shared the figures during a press conference this afternoon.
He says the numbers are “deeply satisfying” because Kentucky had 640,000 uninsured residents prior to passage of the federal Affordable Care Act…
…and within a generation, Beshear says, the overall health of Kentuckians will begin to improve. He says that’ll enhance the quality of life and make Kentucky more attractive to business.
