King Ceremony Set for January 21st

Morehead State University will celebrate the life, dream and vision of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday, Jan. 21. 

This year’s celebration is being led by students from MSU’s Student Programming Board, National Panhellenic Council and Minority Leadership Caucus. 

The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Crager Room of the Adron Doran University Center. 

MSU’s Black Gospel Ensemble will perform along with a spoken word monologue by Taybreanna Couch, Riversdale, Ga., junior. 

The program will feature Jerel Benton, minority retention coordinator, as the speaker.
