Beginning on Thursday, September 26, KY 15 will be closed in Wolfe County at mile-point 16.451. This is the bridge over the Mountain Parkway near what is commonly called "the 55 mph curve."
The closure is necessary as part of an ongoing repair project on the KY 15 bridge. The closure will begin around noon and will last approximately one week. Traffic using KY 15 between Slade and Pine Ridge will need to use the Mountain Parkway as a detour route. Signs and message boards will be in place to alert drivers of the closure.
