Legendary guitarist Phil Keaggy to play MSU

Morehead State University will play host to guitar legend, Phil Keaggy Wednesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Button Auditorium.

Keaggy boasts a career spanning more than 30 years and 50-plus albums. He is known as one of the greatest guitarists in history. He is a seven-time recipient of the GMA Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year, and was twice nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album. His talent and range of style, which varies from rock-and-roll to fully orchestrated instrumental compositions makes him one of the most sought-after studio guitarists.

Keaggy appearance is sponsored by Student Activities, Inclusion and Leadership (SAIL) and MSU’s Wesley Foundation/Methodist Student Center.

Tickets are $10 general admission; $5 faculty and staff; and free for MSU students with valid ID and children 12 and under.
