Luallen Comments on 2015 Governor's Race

Cincinnati.com

The woman who will become Kentucky’s next Lieutenant Governor at the end of this week is making it clear she has not changed her mind about running for governor or any other statewide office in 2015.

Crit Luallen has said repeatedly she will not be on the ballot next year. She’ll be replacing Jerry Abramson as second in command. He’s taking a job next week in the Obama Administration.

Luallen says she has already chosen her candidate for governor but will be keeping a low profile until the primary election is over.

“We expect to both be very involved once that democratic nominee is chosen in helping to elect a Democrat to the governor’s office next fall.”

Luallen says she has already endorsed Jack Conway for Governor but she and Steve Beshear will not be campaigning for anyone prior to the spring primary election.
