Majority Leader Discusses Special Election
Kentucky’s House Majority leader says he’s not worried about Democrats losing the 7th District House seat formerly held by John Arnold during a special election later this year. Rocky Adkins says the sexual harassment scandal that led to Arnold’s recent resignation isn’t really a political issue but things often become that in Frankfort.
Adkins doesn’t see holding the seat as a problem for Democrats…
Adkins says the 7th District in western Kentucky is predominately Democratic and the party is now screening candidates for the post. Governor Beshear has not yet decided on a date for a special election to replace Arnold.
