Morehead State Postpones Open House on March 7

Due to the significant amount of snow and ice, and the fact that Kentucky has been placed under a “state of emergency,” declared by Governor Steve Beshear on Thurs., March 5, Morehead State University (MSU) has postponed the Open House program scheduled for Saturday, March 7.

Postponing the event will help ensure the safety of guests and visitors to MSU’s campus, as well as faculty and staff. MSU is working on a make-up date, which will be announced as soon as possible.

MSU is in the process of contacting all of the preregistered students, and will also post updated information with regional news outlets, social media and on MSU’s website at: http://www.moreheadstate.edu

Morehead State University admission staff will be available in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) on Saturday morning to assist anyone who may wish to visit the university.

MSU apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
