MSPR Advisory Board Meeting Rescheduled

MSPR's Community Advisory Board meeting planned for this evening (Feb. 6) has been cancelled and rescheduled for 6:00PM on Thursday, February 13, 2014.
 
The meeting will be held in the main studios of MSPR, located in Breckinridge Hall on the campus of Morehead State University. Meetings of MSPR's Community Advisory Board are open to the public. A Community Advisory Board of representatives from this service region meets quarterly to discuss programming, community outreach and station activities. 
 
 
Morehead State Public Radio, which includes 90.3FM, WMKY in Morehead and translator W202BH in Inez, is owned and operated by Morehead State University. MSPR serves communities throughout eastern Kentucky with a variety of locally-hosted regional news, music and entertainment programs.

 

Paul Hitchcock earned his Masters in Communications from Morehead State University and Bachelors in Radio-TV/Psychology from Georgetown College. A veteran broadcaster for more than 40 years and an avid fan of blues, jazz and American roots music. Hitchcock has been with WMKY since 1986 and was named General Manager in 2003. He currently hosts "Muddy Bottom Blues" (Fri., 8pm-9pm), "Nothin' But The Blues" (Sat., 8pm-12am), "Sunday Night Jazz Showcase" and "Live From The Jazz Lounge" (Sun., 8pm-9pm) and "The Golden Age of Radio" (Sun., 2pm-3pm). He also serves as producer for "A Time For Tales" and "The Reader's Notebook."
