After his first semester in the ambassadors, he received the New Member achievement award.

“Being elected as the District III Representative is an incredible honor and opportunity. Acting as the District Three Representative, there are responsibilities such as maintaining a working relationship with the CASE District Board, presenting a report to the District members at the district conference and Annual Network Convention, and maintaining regular communication with district members. Steele will be representing nine states in the Southeast region of the United States.

“As District Representative, I am most excited about growing our district. One of my main goals is to reach out to other schools, show them the importance and benefits of Student Advancement Programs, and assist them in creating a program of their own,” said Steele.

Jacob Miller is a sophomore convergent media major from Cincinnati. He has been a member for two years, and serves on the executive board as the communications chair for the Student Alumni Ambassadors. He serves the ambassadors by maintaining social media as well as coordinating marketing and promotional material.

“I’m very excited to be the State Representative for Kentucky in CASE ASAP,” said Miller. “I was grateful to see the unanimous support I received when I was chosen to represent our state. I’m looking forward to working with the other schools in Kentucky to expand the student advancement programs in our state.”

As State Representative, Miller will be responsible for corresponding with advisors and student leaders in other student advancement programs in the state. He will also be responsible for coordinating a state conference for all ambassador programs to convene and share ideas. The state conference is set for fall of 2016 and will be held on the Morehead State University campus.

The two will be attending the National Conference for Student Advancement, hosted by CASE ASAP, in Atlanta, Georgia, as representatives within the next year.
