Morehead State junior Brandon Bornhauser has been named the Pioneer Football League's Kick Returner of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.
Bornhauser returned five kicks for 122 yards (average of 24.4) on Saturday (September 21) against Ohio Valley Conference member Eastern Kentucky. His long of 31 yards came in the first quarter.
A native of Cincinnati, Bornhauser has returned nine kicks for 227 yards (average of 25.2) this season. In four contests as a slot receiver, he has also pulled in 11 receptions for 82 yards.
Morehead State returns to Pioneer Football League action on Saturday, September 28, when it hosts Davidson at 1 p.m. The Eagles are playing six of their last nine games at home this season.
