The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Kentucky will host a spring Open House in Morehead on Thursday, Feb. 16. The Open House is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Morehead United Methodist Church, Wesley Hall, 227 W. Main St. in Morehead.
The Morehead Spring Open House is a chance for prospective and current members to review course offerings, meet with instructors and register for spring courses. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
The spring semester Morehead course offerings include classes such as Getting the Most from Personal Technology Devices, Kentucky Biodiversity, Osher Classic Movie Series and more! This semester will also feature a new opportunity for members to be part of the OLLI Radio Drama: Bring Kentucky History to Life.
Annual OLLI membership is $25 and is good through July 2017. Registration for classes is an additional fee, and most classes are $20.
Registration for courses will open at the Open House on Feb. 16. Online registration will open on Friday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m.
The OLLI at UK is celebrating its 10th year of providing educational opportunities for lifelong learners ages 50 and older in Morehead. The Open House is free and the public is invited to attend.
