Radio Eye Seeks Donations During Kentucky Gives Day

Constant Contact

Radio Eye is one of the hundreds of nonprofits participating in the fourth annual Kentucky Gives Day on May 24, 2016.

Organized by the Kentucky Nonprofit Network, Kentucky Gives Day is an innovative online fundraising event that encourages Kentuckians to donate as much money as possible in support of their favorite participating charities through a single website and in just twenty-four hours.

“Radio Eye makes a difference every day by ensuring that people who are blind or print disabled can access printed news and information, and live more independent lives,” said Amy Hatter, executive director of Radio Eye. “We are ready to partner with other nonprofits across Kentucky to see how much we can collectively raise to serve our communities.”

Beginning at midnight EST on May 24 and continuing until 11:59pm EST, Kentuckians will go online to kygives.org, connect with causes like Radio Eye and make tax-deductible donations to support the important work of Kentucky charities.

All online donations for Radio Eye made online at: http://kygives.org during Kentucky Gives Day will go directly to support your organization’s mission. Radio Eye’s board of directors has pledged to match the first $600 donated on KY Gives Day.

“Kentuckians are generous, raising over $930,000 in three years through Kentucky Gives Day,” said Danielle Clore, executive director of Kentucky Nonprofit Network. “Nonprofits are essential to vibrant communities and they need our support. I encourage all Kentuckians to go online on May 24 and become part of a historic day of generosity in our Commonwealth.”
