SCR Oncology Services Holds Annual Signature Event

SCR Foundation

The St. Claire Foundation would like to thank everyone who came out to the 2016 signature event, “Tastes, Tunes & Tales,” June 17 in support of St. Claire Regional (SCR).

More than $10,000 was raised for SCR Oncology Services over the course of the evening, making the event a huge success.

The night was certainly one to remember, as approximately 180 guests enjoyed a delightful dinner, bourbon tasting and a variety of entertaining acts.

“Keeping events fresh and fun are two particular goals for the SCR Foundation Signature Event Committee,” Committee Chair Susette Redwine said. “The night couldn’t have been any better.”

George “Mac” Luckey Jr., retired Morehead State University professor and current SCR cancer patient, spoke to those in attendance about his experience, emphasizing how fortunate the region is to have access to amazing oncology treatment, close to home.

The funds raised during the event will go toward enhancing the environment and overall experience for SCR oncology patients.
