Senate Okays Redistricting

The Kentucky Senate has voted 35 to 2 in favor of a redistricting plan for House and Senate districts. Republican Joe Bowen of Owensboro chairs the State and Local Government Committee in his chamber…

Bowen applauds the new map as a “break from tradition”. Democrat Robin Webb of Grayson also voted for the measure. However, her newly designed 18th district does not include Lewis County, which she has represented throughout her political career…
