Simon Kenton Bridge Repairs Planned in Maysville

Photobucket

Motorists traveling US 62 across the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge to downtown Maysville on Thursday, Oct. 2, will encounter lane closures.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m., Kentucky Department of Highways crews will patch part of the bridge’s concrete road surface on the Kentucky-bound side. Traffic will be one lane, controlled by flaggers, until 3 p.m. Traffic delays are expected, and travelers are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
