‘Small Town Merchant Program, Holiday Edition’ Set for Oct. 29th

Morehead State University’s Morehead Small Business Development Center will present “Small Town Merchant Program, Holiday Edition” on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 8 a.m. at the Maysville Conference Center, 24 East Second Street. 

The free, two-hour workshop will feature Marc Willson, national retail consultant, and will focus on the timely topic of increasing holiday sales. Following the workshop, several participants will be chosen to receive a special, at their business audit by Willson and Mark Murphy, SBDC consultant. 

Breakfast will be served and Willson will present his program, “From Bah Humbug to Booming Holiday Sales.” 

Following the program, Murphy will meet with attendees and other interested retailers and restaurants to offer additional business audits and continuing assistance in further refining their businesses. 

Morehead SBDC is part of the Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KSBDC), a network of 15 offices located throughout the state that help existing and start-up businesses succeed by offering high quality, in-depth and hands-on services. 

The KSBDC is a partner program with the U.S. Small Business Development Administration SBA.
