The St. Claire Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2017 Richard J. Bausch Family Scholarship and the Sister Mary Jeannette Wess, SND, Scholarship. The application deadline for both scholarships is May 26.
The Bausch scholarship is an annual $1,000 award intended to assist a college student from Appalachia who is pursuing a health sciences degree. To qualify, an applicant must be a pre-professional health sciences student enrolled in a community/technical college or university program and a resident of an Appalachian county as defined by the federal government.
The Richard J. Bausch Family Scholarship is funded by an endowment that was established in memory of the father of Gregory Bausch, PharmD, St. Claire Regional Vice President/COO.
The Sister Mary Jeannette Wess S.N.D. Scholarship is a $750 scholarship named in honor of SCR’s president/CEO from 1983-1995. Prior to her death in January 1996, she requested that donations be made to establish a scholarship fund to assist students from St. Claire Regional’s service region.
