St. Claire Foundation hosts Signature Event

St. Claire HealthCare

More than 230 people had a rockin’ good time at the St. Claire Foundation’s 2018 Signature Event, “Rockin’ & Rollin’ on Railroad Street”, on June 15 at the Morehead Conference Center.

“We’ve been hosting annual Signature Events for 16 years,” said St. Claire Foundation Executive Director Tom Lewis. “This one set records for attendance and dollars raised. We hope everyone who attended had as much fun as our staff did!”

“The event netted approximately $23,000. Proceeds will assist with plans to relocate and transform St. Claire HealthCare’s inpatient rehabilitation services with a state-of-the-art therapy gym and functional training space.”

The most touching moment of the evening was when recent rehab patient Shelley Gulley shared the powerful story of her recovery and rehabilitation after a devastating car accident, including pictures that tracked her journey.

Attendees also enjoyed an opening reception, delicious food prepared by St. Claire HealthCare’s Aramark, silent and live auctions featuring award-winning auctioneer James Benton Pendleton, live music performed by the Lexington-based cover band Flashback and a dance floor.
