Do you know a child who struggles with day-to-day interactions such as initiating conversation and reading social cues? Learning appropriate social skills can help children function better at home, school and in the community.
St. Claire HealthCare will offer FREE Social Skill Builder camps this summer to help rising preschooler through 6th graders with their social skills. SCH’s licensed occupational therapists
Amber O’Neal, MS, OTR/L, Stacy Border, DPT, and Sarah Beth Bryan, MS, CF/SLP, will help with initiating and maintaining conversations; turn taking; self-awareness and self-regulation; body language and nonverbal communication; safety awareness and physical boundaries; listening, paying attention and following directions; expressing wants, needs and emotions; and more.
Each day will be a fun new theme like Dr. Seuss, Jungle Safari, Ocean Adventure and Rock Stars. Camps will be held in the Center for Health, Education & Research, located at 316 W. Second Street, across from the medical center.

•Rising Preschoolers & Kindergartners: June 18-22 | 8:00-10:00 AM
•Rising 1st & 2nd Graders: June 25-29 | 8:00-10:00 AM
•Rising 3rd & 4th Graders: June 25-28 | 1:00 - 3:30 PM
•Rising 5th & 6th Graders: July 16-20 | 1:30 - 4:00 PM
