Morehead State Public Radio presents "Americana Crossroads" Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm. Blending folk, traditional, bluegrass, alternative country and acoustic blues in a music format known as Americana. Every region of the United States has a form of music that is indigenous to that part of the country--folk music from the New England states, Piedmont blues in the Carolinas, TexMex and Texas swing music from the Southwest as well as bluegrass in Kentucky, "Americana Crossroads" presents a unique blend of artists such as The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Emmylou Harris, Marty Stuart & The Fabulous Superlatives,  Tim O'Brien & Darrell Scott, Don Rigsby, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Claire Lynch, Big Sandy & The Fly-Rite Boys, Keb' Mo', Mavis Staples, Del McCoury Band, Johnny Cash, Riders In The Sky and many others.
