Morehead State University's Department of Art and Design attracts students from around the region.

Morehead State University has long been known for its outreach into the community and region.  David Patrick from the Office of Communications and Marketing shares about a program that gives high school dropouts a second chance, which providing valuable job and people skills.  

Morehead State University honored more than 1,100 degree candidates at its two spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 10, at the Academic-Athletic Center.

Korry Friend of Troy, Ohio, won the 27th annual A. Frank and Bethel C. Gallaher Memorial Music Performance Competition at Morehead State University. The award, presented each spring to a junior music major, includes a $1,000 cash prize and the honor of performing at the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences’ Academic Honors and Awards Convocation.

Sheriff Carter Retiring
