Event Description

Queerology 101 explores the past and present state of the LGBTQIA community with historical accounts, visual images, and excerpts from Out: an Anthology of LGBTQIA Kentucky. The show, which was produced in conjunction with Lexington Fairness for National Coming Out Day, premiered in Lexington in October of 2016. Ten members of the original cast will be traveling to Morehead to perform for the Rowan County Rights Coalition on April 22 at 7PM at The Rowan County Arts Center. The show is often educational, frequently poignant, and sometimes hilarious. Copies of the anthology will be available for purchase at the event. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. There is no admission charge for this event, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
