The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers is sponsoring a workshop next month that focuses on helping ex members of the military transition to employment in the manufacturing sector. It’s taking place October 16th at the Gateway Community College in Florence.

Higdon says the event will bring manufacturers in search of engineers and managers together with a disciplined and mature workforce. The result, he hopes, will be development of an ample talent pipeline for the future.
