As you are aware, MSU has undergone a series of residence hall renovations over the last several years. Currently, Mignon Hall is offline as part of our overall housing master plan. As renovations continue, the contractor has informed us that they will need to bring a larger crane to access the south side of the building.
This will require closing both lanes of the street as you go down the hill on Earl Clements Drive between A.B. Chandler and Battson Oates Drive. This section is highlighted in yellow on the map below. We estimate this portion of the demolition and road closure to take about two weeks beginning on Monday, August 26. The contractor will put up protection barriers to ensure that students can still use this route to walk safely through this area.
