Senate Primary Candidate Charles Booker held a campaign event at the Carl Perkins Center in Morehead Thursday night where around 60 people were in attendance.He discussed topics relating to what he calls the “Kentucky New Deal,” which includes such things as Medicare for all, funding for public education and addressing the Commonwealth’s infrastructure needs.Booker is facing three opponents in the primary: Joshua Blanton Sr., Ruth Gao and John Merill. Primary Election Day is set for May 17th.
