Bluegrass Diversion

Bluegrass Diversion is WMKY’s premiere weekly spotlight of bluegrass music. For more than 40 years, Bluegrass Diversion has showcased new and classic bluegrass and bluegrass gospel music featuring high-pitched tenors and tight harmonies, five-string banjos, fiddles, mandolins, acoustic guitars, and upright bass. Originating in 1984 by Lisa Lally, other program hosts included John Skaggs, Sandy Knipp, Bob Christian, John Ryster, and Becki Alfrey.
