Ermold to run for County Clerk

A man who sued Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in 2015 has registered to run against her. David Ermold was denied a marriage license when gay marriage was legalized in 2015. He announced his intentions to run for the office Wednesday) in Morehead.  Ermold said even before the 2015 controversy, he was interested in serving in political office. David Ermold Ermold says he has an obligation to help the county move forward and change the national perception of the area.
