Monday, September 28, 2015 — Three hikers have suffered traumatic injuries after falling off a cliff in the Red River Gorge. State Senator Steve West has been named to a budget review subcommittee on education…and some members of the Ashland city commission fear that the city’s water problems are hurting economic development. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 Wednesday, September 30, 2015 — A two-vehicle crash in Morgan County has taken the life of a West Liberty man. The president of the Rowan County Veterans Association is upset that the community is about to lose two historic buildings…and there are reports that Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis met with the Pope when the Pontiff was in the US last week. Thursday, October 1, 2015 — Steve Beshear’s lawyers are calling the Rowan County Clerk’s suit against the Governor “absurd” and “forlorn”. Ironton police have pulled the body of a man from the Ohio River…and Magoffin County Judge “Doc” Hardin can keep his job, at least for now. Friday, October 2, 2015 — A man was killed in Ashland late last night when he was hit by a train. There’s a settlement in a Medicare fraud case involving Nurse’s Registry…and Pike County State Senator Ray Jones says Kentucky may need to require the timber industry to do more reclamation work in the Commonwealth.

Greg Jenkins has been the Operations Director at MSPR since 1999. Greg is a 1996 graduate of Morehead State University with a BME in Music Education and received a Masters of Science in Industrial Technology in 2008. Greg oversees training, scheduling, and evaluation of the student board operator staff, preparation of the daily traffic logs and serves as weekday classical music host. He is also the webmaster of the MSPR website and maintains MSPR's webstreaming and podcasting.
