Monday, October 12, 2015 — Another hiker falls to his death in the Red River Gorge in Menifee County. There will be one-lane traffic for a 30-mile stretch of I-64 in Carter County this week because of a multi-million dollar improvement project…And Kentucky Congressman John Yarmuth offers a spirited defense of the Affordable care Act. Tuesday, October 13, 2015 — A Bath County couple has been killed at their home while trying to cut tree limbs. Morehead State President Wayne Andrews is scheduled to meet tomorrow with a veterans group to discuss the university’s construction plans and the veterans museum building…and a retired teacher who is now a state representative is skeptical of a plan for educational savings accounts in Kentucky. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 — There was a grand opening today for the new, regional foodbank in Morehead. Rowan County is getting 250-thousand dollars from the state to repair roads. A Bath County couple has been killed at their home while trying to cut tree limbs…and more problems plague the Ashland water system. Thursday, October 15, 2015 — A Kentucky lawmaker wants the state to begin collecting data on people who die while in police custody. A once popular restaurant near the Clark-Madison County line has been destroyed by fire…and a new section of highway has been opened in Elliott County. Friday, October 16, 2015 — Prosecutors will seek the death penalty in the case of a University of Cincinnati professor who was murdered in Fleming County in 2014. The Kentucky Distillers Association will seek regulatory relief from the state legislature next year…and Congressman Thomas Massie weighs in on who might be the next Speaker of the House.

Greg Jenkins has been the Operations Director at MSPR since 1999. Greg is a 1996 graduate of Morehead State University with a BME in Music Education and received a Masters of Science in Industrial Technology in 2008. Greg oversees training, scheduling, and evaluation of the student board operator staff, preparation of the daily traffic logs and serves as weekday classical music host. He is also the webmaster of the MSPR website and maintains MSPR's webstreaming and podcasting.
