Monday, December 7, 2015 — A former Ashland official accused of abusing the public trust died Sunday night. Joseph Burriss was scheduled to go on trial in March. Morehead State University’s president says he’s committed to making the school more diverse…and a Clay City woman files to run for the State Senate in Bath, Menifee and Powell Counties. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 — Matt Bevin is now Kentucky’s 62nd Governor. The head of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce says communities that clean up their brownfield sites will fare better in economic development…and the alleged robber of a Ripley bank is now behind bars. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 — One of the 197 people pardoned in the final days of the Beshear Administration was a Morehead drug offender. An Ironton man faces a hearing in municipal court tomorrow after allegedly threatening to kill students at Ohio University’s Southern campus…and Congressman John Yarmuth says dismantling Kynect would be short-sighted. Greg Jenkins has been the Operations Director at MSPR since 1999. Greg is a 1996 graduate of Morehead State University with a BME in Music Education and received a Masters of Science in Industrial Technology in 2008. Greg oversees training, scheduling, and evaluation of the student board operator staff, preparation of the daily traffic logs and serves as weekday classical music host. He is also the webmaster of the MSPR website and maintains MSPR's webstreaming and podcasting.
