Blood Drive Tuesday at MSU
The Kentucky Blood Center is hosting a blood drive in Morehead Tuesday. As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, Kentucky Blood Center needs healthy donors in order to provide blood to more than 70 hospitals throughout the state.
The Kentucky Blood Center is hosting a blood drive in Morehead Tuesday. As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, Kentucky Blood Center needs healthy donors in order to provide blood to more than 70 hospitals throughout the state.Blood donors must be at least 17-years-old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements.Eric Lindsay is the Director of Marketing with the KBC. He says it has been challenging to get more donors in since the onset of the pandemic.The event will take place on the third floor of the Adron Doran University Center on the campus of MSU from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
