Patriotic Millionaires

The Patriotic Millionaires will be in Morehead tonight to discuss their proposed progressive tax policies. 

The group is comprised of wealthy business leaders and investors who oppose measures like House Bill 8, which would lower individual income tax – regardless of income – to a flat rate of four percent

Morris Pearl is the Chairman of The Board Of Directors for the Patriotic Millionaires.  He says the group is taking a stand against the bill because of the clear tax break for the rich at the expense of working-class residents. 

The Patriotic Millionaires will be at Coffeetree Books at 5 pm and Pasquales at 6 pm.  Free food and drinks for those in attendance will be provided.
