Emergency Road Aid Funds Awarded to Elliott County
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced that Elliott County Fiscal Court will receive $91,146 in County Road Aid emergency funds for three slide repair projects.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced that Elliott County Fiscal Court will receive $91,146 in County Road Aid emergency funds for three slide repair projects.
“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve these requests for funding to provide assistance to Elliott County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray.
Funding requests authorized by the Transportation Cabinet include:
- $28,672 for a slide repair on Lizzie Gillum Road (CR 1216), located about a mile west of KY 719
- $25,800 for slide repair on Lizzie Gillum Road (CR 1216) located about a tenth of a mile northeast of KY 650 and extending southwest to milepoint 1.577
- $36,674 for a slide repair on Ison Creek Road (CR 1008) from two tenths of a mile south of Hamilton Branch Road (CR 1009) extending south to milepoint 0.72
The Elliott County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
