One Rowan County man is in the spotlight after state, federal, and local authorities raided several of his properties yesterday.

Police spent hours searching, and seizing various vehicles and paperwork from Lying Lee’s used cars, owned by Morehead man, Marty Stevens.  The business was the subject of one of five search warrants executed during an investigation yesterday.  Kentucky State Police Trooper Joe Veeneman says he can’t comment on what it was authorities were looking for since it is an ongoing probe.  He spoke with WKYT…

“We have received multiple complaints over the years…as far as the types of sales that have occurred at that location…consumer related would probably be the best way to possibly say that.” – Kentucky State Police Trooper Joe Veeneman

Veeneman adds that Stevens’ car lot is not being shut down during the investigation, but says it could become more difficult for it to conduct business as a result.

Stevens was indicted by a grand jury last month on charges of receiving stolen property.
